The finding of a natural source for reduced risk and treatment of Osteoarthritis has encountered many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with the promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in either large sample size or  mutli centers human trials.
Osteoarthritis (OA), a form of arthritis, is defined as a condition of a result of aging causes of wear and tear on a joint, affecting over 25 million people in the United States in alone.

Recent studies suggested that the combination of green tea, tomato, cow milk  may process a therapeutic values for a potential natural formula used for reduced risk and treatment of Osteoarthritis.

Green tea contains more amount of antioxidants than any drinks or food with the same volume, and is the leaves of Camellia sinensis, undergone minimal oxidation during processing, originated from China.
Its polyphenol, significantly slowed OA disease progression and alleviate the symptoms of pain, physical stress, and mental stress in post-traumatic osteoarthritis (OA) mouse model, through inhibited pain expression markers and inflammatory cytokines(1).

Other study lead by Dr. Oliviero F also suggested that Epigallocatechin-3-gallate, another major chemical constituent of green tea reduced mononuclear cell infiltration and overexpression of proinflammatory mediators is common in early and late OA through protection or modulation of the inflammatory response to calcium pyrophosphate crystals form deposits in the joint and surrounding tissues(2).
Dr Katiyar SK, and Dr. Raman C. said, "The use of green tea polyphenols may be beneficial as a therapeutic addition to biologics that control IL-1β( a major cytokine driving the inflammatory processes) activity by increasing effectiveness and/or reducing dosage"(3).

Tomato is a red, edible fruit, genus Solanum, belongs to family Solanaceae, native to South America. Because of its health benefits, tomato is grown world wide for commercial purpose
and often in green house.

Containing high amount of carotenoids, retinol, and tocopherols, tomato, may also be effective in influence of the development and progression of osteoarthritis (OA)(4). According to the Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, lower serum value of beta-/gamma-tocopherols was found to associate to risk of knee OA patients(4) and higher serum of carotenoids may protect against knee OA(5), according to the National Cancer Institute in the study of Two-hundred cases with radiographic knee OA and 200 controls randomly selected from the Johnston County Osteoarthritis Project(5).

Other researchers suggested that daily intake of cow milk may be beneficiary for people over the age of 50 on symptomatic knee OA.(6). The King George Medical University study of 180 knee osteoarthritis (KOA) subjects said," Certain food groups, such as fruits, milk/milk products, and meat/poultry are beneficial for KOA"(7).

Furthermore, the American College of Rheumatology also supported the suggestion of "frequent milk consumption may be associated with reduced OA progression in women". But further studies are necessary to validate replication of these novel findings(8).

Taking altogether, people who are at increased risk of Osteoarthritis due to family history, gene mutation, aging,.. .....should drink at least one serving daily and people with chronic Osteoarthritis should drink the juices at least 3 times a day, depending to digestive toleration.
Change life style and diet pattern are also recommended.
