Contact dermatitis is an immune reaction induced red, itchy rash against substance that comes into contact with your skin. Green tea extracts used for treatment of inflammation, aging, and cardiometabolic effects may also consisted a therapeutic values in relief the symptoms of allergic contact dermatitis(1).

Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects,
green tea now has been cultivated all over the world in suitable climate. Its extracts consisted anti inflammation, aging, and cardiometabolic effects may also consisted a therapeutic values in relief the symptoms of allergic contact dermatitis(1).
The University Hospitals Case Medical Center Clevelandstudy also suggested that chronic topical application of green tea also exhibited the protection against detrimental effects of UV on cutaneous immunity(2) and DNA damage that formed after UV radiation(3).

Avocados are a commercially valuable fruit, cultivated in tropical climates throughout the world. The green-skinned, pear-shaped fruit ripens after harvesting and native to the Caribbean, Mexico, South America and Central America, belonging to the flowering plant family Lauraceae. According to the Universidade Federal do Paraná, topical avocado reduced secretion of PGE(2) in 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA)(a potent tumor promoter )-induced keratinocyte( the outermost layer of the skin)(4).

Application of Polyhydroxylated fatty alcohols derived from avocado, according to Polyol Biotech Ltd, Granot Initiative Center, exert UVB protective effect through increasing cell viability, decreasing the secretion of IL-6 and PGE(2), and enhancing DNA repair(5).

Resveratrol is a phytochemical in the class of Stilbenoids, found abundantly in skins and seed of grape wine, nuts, peanuts, etc. According to the joint study lead by the Chonnam National University Medical School, ethanol extract of peanut sprouts (EPS) inhibited protective effect against contact dermatitis of mouse skin and compound 48/80-treated HaCaT cells through its anti-inflammatory activity via its anti-oxidant activity(6) as well as its cytoprotective effects against UVB in detoxifying enzymes in human dermal fibroblasts against UVB-irradiated oxidative stress(7).

Dr. Feng LL and the colleagues at the , Nanjing University insisted that, the effectiveness of resveratrol in ameliorated ear swelling in a mouse model of picryl chloride-induced ear contact dermatitis, may be result from preventing the cells from entering S phase and G2/M phase during T cells activation(9).

Taking altogether, people who are at high risk of contact dermatitis due to family history, obesity, occupation,,..... should drink at least one serving daily and people with contact dermatitis should drink the smoothie as much as they can, depending to digestive toleration.
