3/4 cup orange
1/4 cup sunflower seed

The finding the natural ingredients for treatment of endometriosis is considered as a dream of many scientist to replace the long term usage adverse effect of conventional medicine.
Unfortunately, many compounds found effective in initial studying failed to confirm the similar potentials in large sample size and multi center.

Endometriosis is a condition of endometrial tissues grown outside the Due to its reaction to hormone signals of the monthly menstrual cycle, building up tissues, breaking it and eliminating it through menstrual period, endometriosis also cause severe pelvic pain.

Recent studies suggested that scientist in some research centers have found the naturally potential ingredients of antioxidant supplementation in ameliorated endometriosis-associated symptoms, including vitamin C(1), E(1) and A(2).

Sweet potato is a large, starchy, sweet tasting tuberous roots vegetable, genus Ipomoea, belongings to the family Convolvulaceae. The root vegetable contains a highest amount of vitamin A in comparison to other foods in the same content,
According to the joint study lead by the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, the impairment of retinoic acid biosynthesis involved in the transport of retinol (vitamin A alcohol) from the liver storage site to peripheral tissue.is associated to the development of human and murine endometriosis(3).
Dr. Sokalska A and research team at the University of California said, " the expression of the key protein regulating the uptake of retinol (STRA6) and the expression of apoptosis-promoting CRABP2,....may contribute to cooperative apoptosis-inducing effects of simvastatin and RA and support the examination of these compounds in the treatment of endometriosis" in the investigation of the effects of simvastatin on retinoic acid system against endometriosis(4).

Vitamin C, alangeso known as L-ascorbate, a water soluble vitamin with a chemical structure formula of C6H6O6 found abundantly in orange is  best known for it's antioxidant property in strengthening the immune system against any inflammatory diseases, including endometriosis(1).
In experimental endometriotic cysts study, vitamin C in dose-dependent ameliorated the volumes and weights of the endometriotic cysts(5).

According to the Instituto Nacional de Perinatología, regular intake of vitamin C and E, lowered oxidative stress marker levels in attenuated the symptoms of endometriosis(6).
In fact, intake of vitamin C and  vitamin E expressed a a positive association between the pathology development and the lipoperoxidation status in women with endometriosis(7).
Vitamin E, best known for its powerful antioxidant property a fat soluble vitamin found abundantly
in sunflower seed. According to the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangdong Province, intake of vitamin E in patient with endonetriosis decreased oxidative stress, as well as improved mature oocyte rates and fertilization rates(8).
In fact, regular intake of "vitamin E from food sources are found inversely related to endometriosis risk" Dr. Darling AM and colleagues at the joint study lead by the Harvard School of Public Health said.
The discovery of combined ingredients of Sweet Potato, Orange and Sunflower Seed may act as a cornerstone for induction of further investigation of the effectiveness of natural smoothie in reduced risk and treatment of Endometriosis.

People who are at increased risk of Endometriosis due to family history, ... may drink one or 2 servings a day, people with Endometriosis should drink as much as they can depending to the digestive alternation.
Life style and dietary pattern change are recommended.
