The curable smoothie for reduced risk and treatment of Breast pain
1/2  cup flaxseed
6 mg Vitex agnus extract
1 1/2  cups organic avocado juice

The finding of a natural source for reduced risk and treatment of Breast pain has encountered many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially the promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in either large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Scientists in some well known institutions may have found the therapeutic and potential ingredients from natural sources(such as Flax seed, Vitex agnus extract and Avocado ) for reduced risk and treatment of Breast pain

Breast pain is any discomfort, tenderness, or pain in the breast or underarm region due to change of hormone just before, during and after period. According to  Dr. Goyal A 'Breast pain may be cyclical (worse before a period) or non-cyclical, originating from the breast or the chest wall, and occurs at some time in 70% of women(8).

Flaxseed oil, an extracted from the seeds of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum) contained both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids may be effective in reduced breast pain for women with Breast engorgement. According to the joint study led by the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, in randomized controlled trial on 159 women, Flaxseed are effective in short-term period in decreasing cyclical mastalgia(1).
The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center study in review the effectiveness of flaxseed in of the literature of data bases suggested that the seed may benefit women with cyclic mastalgia (breast pain) due to the efficacy of alpha-linoleic acid(2).
Dr. Rosolowich V and colleagues at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, said, "Flaxseedshould be considered as a first-line treatment for cyclical mastalgia"(3).

Chaste tree berry is a species of Vitex agnus-castus, genus Vitex, belongings to the family Lamiaceae, native to the Mediterranean region, used in herbal medicine for thousands of year as anaphrodisiac herb and is considered as Queen herb in treating menstrual problems. The herbal extract has found effectively in reduced pain in women with Breast engorgement(4).
According to the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology-University, the popular herbal treatment, Vitex agnus-castus L. showed to reduce serum prolactin levels and ameliorate cyclic mastalgia in comparable to bromocriptine(5).
Dr. Halaska M and colleafues at the I. gynek.-porod. klinika 1. said, " Intensity of breast pain diminished quicker with .Vitex agnus castus (VACS) extract group. The tolerability was satisfactory. We found VACS to be useful in the treatment of cyclical breast pain in women"(4).

Vitamin E, a fat soluble vitamin found abundantly in avocado may also be used as natural supplemental agents for treatment of cyclic mastalgia, according to the study led by Hamadan University of Medical Sciences(6).
The evaluation the effectiveness of vitamin E, evening primrose oil (EPO), and the combination of vitamin E and EPO for pain control in women with cyclical mastalgiam conducted by the Mayo Clinic said,"Daily doses of 1,200 IU vitamin E, 3,000 mg EPO, or vitamin E and EPO in combination at these same dosages taken for six months may decrease the severity of cyclical mastalgia"(7).

The effectiveness of Flax seed,  Vitex agnus extract and avocado may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for for Reduced Risk and treatment of Breast pain with little or no adverse effects.

Women who are at increased risk of Breast pain due to family history,.....may drink at least one serving daily and women with Breast pain may drink as much as they can, depending to the digestive toleration.

Vitamins are organic compounds and vital nutrients needed by your body to grow and develop in a profound way.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E, a fat soluble vitamin, consisting eight different variants (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocopherol and alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocotrienol) with varying levels of biological activity(2), found abundantly in corn oil, soybean oil, margarine, wheat germ oil, sunflower, safflower oils, etc. plays an important role in neurological functions and inhibition of platelet aggregation, regulation of enzymatic activity, free radical scavenger, etc..

The Effect of Vitamin E on Skin Aging

Skin aging is one of most visible process which occurs constantly in our skin organ. According to the Clinical Centre of Nis, certain plant extracts may have the ability to scavenge free radicals, to protect the skin matrix through the inhibition of enzymatic degradation, or to promote collagen synthesis in the skin, affecting the skin elasticity and tightness(a). Other suggested that free radicals induced domino effects in production of reactive oxygen species, which can react with DNA, proteins, and fatty acids, causing oxidative damage and impairment of antioxidant system, resulting in injuries and damages regulation pathways of skin, including wrinkles, roughness, appearance of fine lines, lack of elasticity, and de- or hyperpigmentation marks(b).

Epidemiological studies, linking vitamin E in reduced progression of aging have been inconclusive(1)(2)(3)(4).
The effects
According to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, in stress-induced premature senescence (SIPS) model of human diploid fibroblasts (HDFs), γ-tocotrienol (GTT), a vitamin E variant showed to delay cellular senescence of human diploid fibroblasts through the inhibition of intrinsic mitochondria-mediated pathway which involved the regulation of pro- and anti-apoptotic genes and proteins(5) and prevented cellular aging in human diploid fibroblasts(6), probably through modulating gene expression(7) and protected against oxidative stress-induced cellular ageing by modulating the telomere length possibly via telomerase(8). The molecular mechanism of tocotrienol-rich fraction (TRF) study insisted that the variants protect against H(2)O(2)-induced oxidative stress in human skin fibroblast culture by modulating the expression of Skin Aging in COL I and COL III genes(Collagen gene) with concomitant increase in the rate of total collagen synthesis(9). According to the National University of Malaysia, f alpha-tocopherol (ATF), another variant of vitamin E protected against H(2)O(2)-induced DNA damage and telomere shortening of normal human skin fibroblast cells derived from young and old individual donors(10) and topical administration of alpha-tocopherol (ATF), in medium doses, may provid some degree of photoprotection against UVA(11). Some researchers suggested the potent of vitamins in reduced aging progression is a result of the balance between various skin antioxidants of vitamin E and C, through new delivery systems, in delivering vitamins C and E into the skin simultaneously(12). Other antioxidant in improved skin health, includevitamin E, certain flavonoids, and the carotenoids, β-carotene, lycopene and lutein, may also effective through protection against inflammation, oxidative stress, breakdown of the extracellular matrix(13). In Indian women with facial signs ofaging study, the composition of niacinamide, panthenol, and tocopheryl acetate significantly reduced appearance of hyperpigmentation, improved skin tone evenness, appearance of lightening of skin, versus control in 6 weeks(14).

Taken altogether, composition of vitamin E and other antioxidants and its variants may be effective
in reduced early onset of skin aging and inhibited skin aging progression, but large sample size and multi centers studies to improve these validation are necessary. Over doses of vitamin E supplement can cause symptoms of blurred vision, weakness, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, etc., please make sure you follow the guideline of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies.

The smoothie for prevention and treatment of Glomerulosclerosis
Yield: 2 servings (about 8 ounces each)
1  cup sweet potato
1/2  cup carrot
1 cup Spanish drink

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed.
3. Serve immediately

The finding of a natural source for treatment of Glomerulosclerosis has been running into many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Glomerulosclerosis is a health conditon of hardening of the glomerulus with function of filterring urine from the blood in the kidney. Recent studies suggested that CoQ10 found abundantly in spinach may benefit patients with Glomerulosclerosis. Defects in coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) biosynthesis, manifested in patient-derived lymphoblastoid cell lines(3) is associated to focal segmental glomerulosclerosis in children and in adults(2).
According to the Lorestan University of Medical Sciences, Coenzyme Q10 alleviated glomerulosclerosis on the lipid peroxidation and antioxidant enzymes activity in alloxan-induced type 1 diabetic rats(1).

Vitamin E, found abundantly in sweet potato, ameliorated  expression of glomerulosclerosis, restored renal neuronal nitric oxide synthesis (NOS) by suppressing the  oxidative stress in animal model(4)

Retinoic acid, a derivative of vitamin A , found in carrot can revert renal progenitor differentiation and promote podocyte regeneration in progression toward glomerulosclerosis(5).
According to the The First Affiliaionted Hospital of GuangXi Medical University, all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA), a promising therapeutic agent with function mimicked those of vitamin A, exhibited the protective effect against glomerulosclerosis (GS) lesions in rats, similar to renin-angiotensin aldosterone system (RAAS)(6).
Dr. Zhou TB and colleagues at the The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, said, "(all-trans retinoic acid) ATRA can increase the gelatinases expressions and reduce the accumulation of apoE in glomerulus of GS rats,...."(7).

The effectiveness of Spanish, Sweet Potato and Carrot may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for for Reduced Risk  and treatment of Glomerulosclerosis with little or no adverse effects.
People who are at increased risk of Glomerulosclerosis due to aging, weaken reno function.,..... should drink the smoothie twice a day and people with Glomerulosclerosis should drink as much as they can, depending to the digestive toleration.
Life style and dietary patter change are recommended.

The Effect of Vitamin E on Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)

Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) is defined as a condition of increased in the number of cells of prostate gland, causing partial, or sometimes virtually complete obstruction of the urinary tract. According to statistic, BPH commonly starts at age of 30 and symptoms usually can not be realized until age of 50. More than half of men between age of 60-70 are experience symptoms of BPH and only 10% are required treatment.

Epidemiological studies, linking vitamin E in reduced risk and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia have not been consistent(1)(2)(3).
A composition, consisting cernitin, saw palmetto, B-sitosterol, vitamin E has shown to significantly reduce nocturia and frequency and diminish overall symptomatology of BPH, according to the Georgetown University Medical Center(4). Some researchers suggested that Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) may be associated to the long-term exposure of the prostate to the strong androgen 5alpha-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) due to aging induced conversion of free testosterone. Food supplementation with extracts of Serenoa repens and a combination of the antioxidants selenium, (cis)-lycopene and natural vitamin E, together with fish oil rich in long-chain polyunsaturated essential fatty acids of the omega-3 group may be effective as pharmaceutical 5alpha-reductase inhibitors in partial androgen deficiency correct testosterone substitution(5). Vitamin E, as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger may be effective in reduced oxidative stress as patients with BPH were found with significant decrease in plasma alpha-Toc and Asc level(6)(7). Although diet and dietary supplement intervention appeared to slow BPH progression, over consumption of dietary supplements may be harmful(8).

Taken altogether, without going into reviews, vitamin E may be effective in reduced risk and treatment of patients with BPH. Over doses of vitamin E supplement can cause symptoms of blurred vision, weakness, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, etc., please make sure you follow the guideline of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies.

The smoothie for prevention and treatment of Minimal mesangial glomerulonephritis induced by Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)
Yield: 2 servings (about 8 ounces each)
1/ 4 cup Blueberry
1 cup grape
1/4 cup peanut
1/4 tsp curcumin(optional)
1 cup green tea drink (Make from 4 grams of green tea, a slice of ginger and a cup of hot water lipped for 5 minutes, and let cool to room temperature)
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed.
3. Serve immediately

The finding of a natural source for treatment of Malarial nephropathy  has been running into many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Minimal mesangial glomerulonephritis is a type of glomerulonephritis, affecting 10% to 25% of patients with lupus nephritis SLE, a disease of the autoimmune system.

Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects, green tea now has been cultivated all over the world in suitable climate. According to Kyushu University, chronic drinking of tea may attenuate the risk of Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)(1)
Major phytochemical constituent isolated from green tea, in National Defense Medical Center study, expressed the prophylactic effects on lupus nephritis in prevented proteinuria, renal function impairment, and severe renal lesions through antioxidant and free radical scavenging and anti pro inflammatory activities(2).
Furthermore, the antioxidant also manifested the cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity is associated with increased oxidative stress and inflammatory cytokines in the kidney, including inhibiting NF-kappaB, the pro inflammatory pathway(3).

Resveratrol is a phytochemical in the class of Stilbenoids, found abundantly in grape, blueberry and peanuts, may also display anti Minimal mesangial glomerulonephritis induced by Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) through its immune-modulated effects(5). According to the joint study led by the Peking Union Medical College and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, resveratrol exhibited protective effects in pristane-induced lupus mice via anti-inflammation and immune-regulatory properties(4).

Turmeric is a perennial plant in the genus Curcuma, belonging to the family Zingiberaceae, native to tropical South Asia. The herb has been used in trditional medicine as anti-oxidant, hypoglycemic, colorant, antiseptic, wound healing agent, and to treat flatulence, bloating, and appetite loss, ulcers, eczema, inflammations, etc. its chemical constituent curcumin exhibited anti SLE effects through maintaining the balance between T helper 17 (Th17) and regulatory T cells (Treg)(6).
According to the University of Chicago, curcumin increased the expression of IgG deposits in protection against altered the transport of immune complexes leading to an increase in IgG deposits which could induce inflammatory pathways thereby leading to worsening of the disease(7).
Furthermore, oral administration of turmeric supplementation can decrease proteinuria, hematuria, and systolic blood pressure in patients suffering from relapsing or refractory lupus nephritis, the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences suggested(8).

The smoothie of Green Tea, Blueberry, Grape, Peanut and Curcumin may hold a key in further studies in production of effective natural ingredients for prevention and treatment of any type of Minimal mesangial glomerulonephritis induced by SLEwithout inducing adverse effects.

People who are at increased risk of any of Minimal mesangial glomerulonephritis induced by SLE, due to family history, weaken immunity... should drink at least one cup daily. People with Minimal mesangial glomerulonephritis induced by SLE, should drink no more than 4 servings daily, depending to the digestive toleration.

Ovarian cancer is defined as a condition of abnormal ovarian cells growth of ovarian cells, It is one of most common cancer in US. According to the statistics adapted from the American Cancer Society's publication, Cancer Facts & Figures 2010, an estimated 21,880 women in the United States were diagnosed with ovarian cancer and 13,850 deaths.

Depending to the stage and grade of the cancer, chemotherapy such as cisplatin, carboplatin, paclitaxel, liposomal doxorubicin may be necessary to prevent the spread and recurrence of the cancer. Epidemiological studies focusing in vegetables and fruits in reduced risk and treatment of ovarian cancer have not been conclusive(a)(b)(c)(d), some herbs have showed to inhibit the progression of cancer with little or no side effects.

Epidemiological studies, linking serum of vitamin E in the risk of ovarian cancer have produced inconsistent results. Serum levels of vitamin are not associated to ovarian cancer risk, according to Tampere University Central Hospital and (1) but the study by Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, indicated that the higher serum alpha-tocopherol levels are associated with an increased risk of ovarian cancer but diminished after adjustment for cholesterol(2). Other study suggested that lower alpha-tocopherol concentrations may be associated with the toxicity of chemotherapy(3).

Alpha-TEA , a novel vitamin E analogue found to induce apoptosis a wide variety of epithelial cancer cell types, including breast, prostate, lung, colon, ovarian, cervical, and endometrial in cell culture and inhibit tumor burden and metastasis in a syngeneic mouse mammary tumor model,(4). Other study suggested that vitamin E derivative, vitamin E succinate (VES; RRR-alpha-tocopheryl succinate), and a vitamin E analogue alpha-TEA can induce A2780 and subline A2780/cp70 ovariancancer cells to undergo DNA synthesis arrest within 24 h of treatment, excluding normal human mammary epithelial cells(5). In SK-OV-3 human ovarianadenocarcinoma along with its multi-drug resistant version SK-OV-3-paclitaxel-resistant (TR) cells, combination treatment of vitamin E co-loaded with curcumin and paclitaxel(a mitotic inhibitor) exhibited a three-fold tumor inhibition with each of these cell lines(6). According to the University of Strathclyde, intravenous administration tocotrienol-rich fraction (TRF), showed to exhibit tumor regression and improved animal survival in a murine xenograft model(7). In MDAH2774 human ovarian cancer cells combined treatment of Adenovirus-mediated mda-7 (Ad-mda7) plus VES inhibited tumor progression through activation of two apoptotic extrinsic and intrinsic pathways (specifically Fas expression and cleavage of Bid and caspase-8 and disruption of mitochondrial in activation of downstream capase-9 and caspase-3 via cytochrome C releasE) but not the normal fibroblasts(8). and treatment with Ad-mda7-mediated alone induced apoptosis of human ovarian cancer cells via activation of the Fas-FasL signaling pathway(9).

Taking altogether, vitamin E succinate and analogue may be effective in reduced risk and treatment of ovarian cancer. Large sample size and multi center studies to validate the claims are necessary. Over doses of vitamin E supplement can cause symptoms of blurred vision, weakness, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, etc., please make sure you follow the guideline of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies.

Cardiorenal syndrome is a term of interrelated of kidney and cardiovascular. As one disease of
one organ can induce dysfunction of the other. The coexisting CVD and kidney disease or 'cardiorenal syndrome (CRS)' have a synergistic adverse clinical outcomes.

The smoothie for prevention and treatment of  Kidney disease induced by Cardiovascular disease in Cardiorenal syndrome
Yield: 2 servings (about 8 ounces each)

1/2 cup olive
1 cup cooked sweet potato
1 cup organic grape juice

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed.
3. Serve immediately

The finding of a natural source for treatment of Kidney disease (induced Cardiovascular disease) in Cardiorenal syndrome has been running into many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Recent studies back by well known institutions proposed, Cooked Sweet Potato, Olive and Grape Juice may be the next generation of natural ingredients for prevention and treatment of Kidney disease (induced Cardiovascular disease) in Cardiorenal syndrome

Chronic Kidney Diseases(CKD) in in Autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease is a progressive loss of kidney function over period longer than 3 months through different stages, deepening to the GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate). According to the Tri-Service General Hospital, Excessive oxidative stress increased oxidative nucleicacid damage and exagerated the development of complication of Chronic Kidney Diseases(1).

The Anti-Odxidant Therapy in Chronic Renal Insufficiency (ATIC) study suggested, combination of pravastatin, vitamin E, and homocysteine treatment in 18 months together with hypertension controlled  effectively attenuated expression of Chronic Kidney Diseases(CKD) through reduced oxidative stress against renal function(2).Vitamin E-coated membranes (VECMs) consist of a multilayer membrane with liposoluble vitamin E, used in dialysis significantly improved Hb levels and lower rHuEpo requirements in chronic HD patients(3).Dr. Rashid Khan M and colleagues insisted, vitamin E significantly reduced dyslipidemia and inhibited the development of CRD caused by atherogenic factors after six weeks. particular in hypolipidemic and nephroprotective activity against free radical-related diseases(4).

N-3 fatty acids found abundantly in olive may also contribute to the potential benefits of dietary fat
modification in CKD patients, according to the Karolinska Institutet(5).
Dr. Lee SM and Dr. An WS., professors at the Seoul National University Hospital, insisted, intake of Omega 3 fatty acid exhibited cardioprotective effects in chronic kidney disease, the main cause of death, through attenuated inflammation, dyslipidemia, malnutrition, atherosclerosis, and vascular calcification(6).
Dr. Friedman AN said, " Long-chain polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (n-3 PUFA), which are obtained primarily from dietary sources such as coldwater fish, have diverse and potent mediating effects on the immune, inflammatory, and metabolic pathways, signal transduction, and cell membrane physiology" and "In the meantime, the current American Heart Association n-3 PUFA intake guidelines can be applied to CKD patients"(7).

Resveratrol is a phytochemical in the class of Stilbenoids, found abundantly in grape and blueberry, may also benefit in attenuated complications and treatment of Chronic Kidney Diseases(CKD), through its inflammation and oxidative stress modulation (8).
According to the joint study led by the The Catholic University of Korea, Bucheon, resveratrol expressed renoprotective effects by activating NRF2 signaling against against oxidative or electrophilic stress(9).Furthermore by suppressing the pro inflammatory cytokines, consumption of white wine and olive oil, significantly reduced plasma markers of chronic inflammation in CKD patients(10).

The effectiveness of Cooked Sweet Potato, Olive and Grape Juice may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for reduced risk, complications and treatment of Kidney disease (induced Cardiovascular disease) in Cardiorenal syndromewith little or no adverse effects.

People who are at high risk of Kidney disease (induced Cardiovascular disease) in Cardiorenal syndrome should drink no more than 4 servings daily, depending to digestive toleration.
Life style and diet pattern change are necessary.
