In a 26 years follow-up study of 67,470 female participants aged 34 to 59 in 1980 of the Nurses' Health Study (NHS), returned questionnaires by the participants indicated that

Dr. Je Y, the lead author said, "For decaffeinated coffee consumption, a suggestive inverse association was found among women who consumed 2 or more cups per day versus <1 cup/mo."

Interestingly, the menopause women, the primary analyses included 45,696 women and 427 incident endometrial cancer cases, diagnosed over a total of 342,927 person-years of follow-up, suggested that
1. No association of endometrial cancer risk in coffee consumption in compared to non-daily drinkers (none or <1 cup/day),
2. Women who drank ≥4 cups/day have a relative odd ration of were 0.86. 0.63, for total coffee with 0.89 for caffeinated coffee, and 0.51 (95% CI 0.25, 1.03) for decaf coffee.
3. In obese women, compared to control group (none or <1 cup/day), women who drank ≥2 cups/day had a relative odd ratio of 0.72 for total coffee, 0.66 for caffeinated coffee. and 0.67 decaffeinated coffee drinkers.
