Its phytochemical flavonoids, processed antimicrobial potential and synergistic activity with antibiotics against various types of infectious diseases(5).
In Bacillus cereus, seven green tea catechins and four black tea theaflavins, exerted antimicrobial activities in dose-depend manner(7).
Saponins are a group of phytochemical compounds presented in various plant species, found abundantly in almonds, may be a potential ingredient for reduced risk and treatment of igonorrhea(8).
According to the joint study lead by the JSPM's Jayawantrao Sawant College of Pharmacy and Research, phytochemicals and vitamins, including saponins, found in fresh nuts may be used in reduced risk and treatment of gonorrhea(9).
