The study also illustrated that combination of niacin, fiber and stain may be considered as one most effective treatment in reduced risk and treatment of high blood cholesterol and cardiovascular events with cost-effective achievement of optimal lipid values (OLVs) in several at-risk patient populations.

Taking altogether, niacin may be combined with other therapeutic substances for improved treatment of heart diseases through its contribution in reduced blood cholesterol abnormality.
