Conorenal syndrome, also known as Mainzer-Saldino syndrome or Saldino-Mainzer disease is a medical condition of diseases involved kidney, skeletal system and eye.

Poor vision in Conorenal syndrome is a result of a progression of degeneration of photosensitive tissue of the retina in both eyes of patient since infancy.
Treatment of poor vision with natural sources may be helpful to prolong at least and prevent the destruction of the photosensitive tissues

The smoothie at least prolong and prevention of poor vision in Conorenal syndrome
Yield: 2 servings (about 8 ounces each)

1/2 cup carrot
1 cup olive
1 tsp curcumin
1 cup rice milk

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed.
3. Serve immediately

The finding of a natural source for treatment of Poor Vision in Conorenal syndrome has been running into many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Recent studies back by well known institutions proposed, Cooked Sweet Potato, Olive and Grape Juice may be the next generation of natural ingredients for prevention and treatment of poor vision in Conorenal syndrome.

Carotene, an orange or red plant pigment and a precursor of vitamin A found abundantly in carrot and tomato may benefits patient with poor vision(1) in Conorenal syndrome. According to Case Western Reserve University, synthetic 9-cis-stereoisomers of vitamin A (all-trans-retinol) are especially promising agents for the fight against poor vision and blinding diseases(3).
According to the University of California, in the study of Nightblind pregnant women randomly assigned to 1 of 6 treatment groups to receive 6 d/wk for 6 wk either 850 microg retinol equivalents/d as retinyl palmitate indicated a significantly increase plasma retinol concentrations in improvement of night vision but do not difference than those who received vitamin A as liver, amaranth leaves,carrots(2).
In support the above, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, insisted use of antioxidant vitamin or mineral supplementation such as beta-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E may delay the progression of age-related macular degeneration disease, but more studies may be necessary to validate these claim(6).

Omega 3 fatty acid found abundantly in flax seed and olive may help improvement of poor vision(4).
Dr. Lawrenson JG and Dr. Evans JR. said, "omega 3 LCPUFA supplementation in people with AMD for periods up to five years does not reduce the risk of progression to advanced AMD or the development of moderate to severe visual loss"(5) of these may be beneficiary to the progression of vision loss of genetic mutation in Conorenal syndrome.
Furthermore, intake of Omega 3 fatty acids also showed to alleviate dry eye symptoms, decrease tear evaporation rate and improve Nelson grade in patients suffering from computer vision syndrome related dry eye(7).

Turmeric is a perennial plant in the genus Curcuma, belongings to the family Zingiberaceae, native to tropical South Asia. Its phytochemical curcumin is found effectively for treatment of eye disorder(8).
In corneal neovascularization, a leading cause for compromised vision, curcumin significant improven and prevent of corneal neovascularization by suppression in the expression of VEGF controlled by growth factors and cytokines, inflammatory cytokines,,..(9).
The Vision Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya study also showed that curcumin suppresses the expression and function of MDR1, the multidrug resistance-associated protein 1(10).

The effectiveness of  Carrot, Olive and Curcumin may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for reduced risk, complications and treatment of poor vision in Conorenal syndrome with little or no adverse effects.

Senior who are at high risk of poor vision in Conorenal syndrome due to mutation gene should drink no more than 4 servings daily, depending to digestive toleration.

Life style and diet pattern change are necessary.

Imaging of long term intake of delicious smoothies loved by many with the power of reduced risk and treatment of chronic illness with no one mentions about. In fact, it happens. Epidemiological studies with strong evidences suggested that blueberry oral administration hold a potential with therapeutic values for reduced risk of women who carry the mutation gene and treatment of breast cancer(*).

The curable smoothies are collection of recipes produced from natural sources, including organic fruits and vegetables, and some herbs which have been proven effectively for reduced risk and treatment for diseases and syndromes by scientific research of clinical trials and/or studies.

The finding of foods from natural sources has been a dream of scientists and scholars since ancient time. Socrates Said," Let foods be your medicine and let medicine be your foods". Let all of us all exercise the values of the past wisdom to build a letter living and living health while enjoining these delicious drinks.

Diabetic nephropathy is a form of progressive kidney disease caused by damage to the small veins in the kidneys' glomeruli. According to the Purdue University College of Pharmacy, antihypertensive therapy are recommendations for prevention of nephropathy in diabetic hypertensive patients(**).

The prevention of nephropathy in diabetic hypertensive patients

1. The Smoothie for reduced risk of hypertension
The smoothie for reduced risk and treatment of  Hypertension

Yield: 2 servings (about 8 ounces each)
3/4 cup celery
3/4 cup of apple with peel
1 cup green tea drink 1 cup green tea drink (Make from 4 grams(2 tea bags) of green tea, a slice of ginger and a cup of hot water lipped for 5 minutes, and set aside for cooling to room temperature)

1. Place the celery, apple with peels, green tea, in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed.

Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps out blood. high blood pressure means raising pressure in your heart. If your blood pressure stays high over time it can damage the body in many ways.
Blood pressure medications have undoubtedly prevented many deaths from heart disease in the past 30 years, but also induced many irreversible adverse effects, including kidney damage.

Diet rich in fruits and vegetable and reduced intake of red meat, saturated fat and trans fat has shown to attenuated risk of hypertension(1). Recent study showed that celery(2) intake used conjunction with berries(3) and green tea(4) may be the potential drink for prevention and treatment of hypertension.

Celery is a species of Apium graveolens, belongings to the family Apiaceae, cultivated all around the globe as a vegetable. According to Chronic administration of hexanic, methanolic, and aqueous-ethanolic extracts of celery seed effectively exhibited an antihypertensive activity in chronic treatment of elevated BP in tested animals(5).

Dr. Dianat M and the research team at the Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences said," hydro-alcoholic celery leaf extract on systolic blood pressure (SBP), heart rate (HR) and lipid profile in animals' model of hypertension induced by fructose"(6)

3‑n‑butylphthalide (NBP), an phytochemical found in celery seed used in traditional Chinese medicine exhibited significantly antihypertensive and attenuated progression of hypertensive effects through decreased oxidative stress and the expression of pro‑inflammatory cytokines(7).
Apple is the pomaceous fruit of the apple tree, a species of the rose family Rosaceae. It is one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits. With phytochemical flavonoids, apple and its peel inhibited angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) in promoted the development of high blood pressure, Dr Balasuriya N and Dr. Rupasinghe HP. Suggested(8)According to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, "Flavonoid (found abundantly in fruits and vegetable)(10) intake has been inversely associated with mortality from coronary heart disease and stroke,..... Lowering blood pressure through increased dietary consumption of dietary antioxidants(such as flavonoid) may decrease the rate of end-organ damage that is secondary to hypertension"(9).

Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects, green tea now has been cultivated all over the world in suitable climate.

Epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate (EGCG), the main polyphenol presence in green tea is best known for its antioxidant and anti inflammatory effect. In animal model, the phytochemical exhibited anti hypertensive and progressive activity through reduction of oxidative stress in paraventricular nucleus of hypothalamus (PVN), the Xi'an Jiaotong University Health Science Center study showed(11).

Dr. Yarmolinsky J and the research team at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, suggested that, intake of tea are shown to reduce blood pressure in individuals within prehypertensive and hypertensive ranges in the review of all relevant studies published from 1946 to September 27, 2013.(12).

Furthermore, green tea extract (GTE) inhibited the oxidative stress and ingiotensin (Ang) II induces endothelial dysfunction (ED) causes of hypertension through scavenging of superoxide anion generation, the University of Padova, insisted(13).

People who are at increased risk of hypertension due to family history, Diabetic nephropathy,... .....should drink at least one cup daily and people with chronic hypertension should drink the juices at least 3 times a day, depending to digestive toleration.
Change of life style and diet pattern are also recommended.

2. The smoothie for reduced risk and treatment of diabetes
Yield: 2 servings (about 8 ounces each)

1 3/4 cup whole food papaya
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup green tea drink (Make from 4 grams(2 tea bags) of green tea, a slice of ginger and a cup of hot water lipped for 5 minutes, and set aside for cooling to room temperature)
1. Place whole food papaya, cinnamon and green tea drink in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed.
3. Serve immediately

The finding of a natural source for reduced risk and treatment of diabetes has encountered many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially the promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in either large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Diabetes is defined as a condition caused by insufficient insulin entering the bloodstream to regulate the glucose. It is either caused by cells in pancreas dying off or receptor sites clogged up by fat and cholesterol. In some cases, diabetes is also caused by allergic reactions of cells in the immune system

Cinnamon, a kitchen spicy in many cultures, may have gained many believers, including medical professions because of its anti diabetic effect, through regulating the blood glucose levels in healthy and diabetic subjects. According to herbalists, intake of 1/4 tsp. in the morning and evening may reduce the blood sugar significantly with little or no adverse effects.

The herb has been use in herbal and traditional medicine as anti-fungal and bacteria level to improve reproductive organ, prevent flatulence and intestinal cramping, treat indigestion, diarrhea, bad breath, headache, migraine, etc.(14).

According to the 2011 statistic from National Diabetes InformationClearinghouse (NDIC), among U.S. residents ages 65 years and older, 10.9 million, or 26.9 percent, had diabetes in 2010, about 215,000 people younger than 20 years had diabetes—type 1 or type 2—in the United States in 2010 and approximately, 1.9 million people ages 20 years or older were newly diagnosed with diabetes in 2010 in the United States.

In a total of 66 patients with type 2 diabetes study conducted by Xuhui District Central Hospital, showed a significant reduction of blood triglyceride levels in the low-dose group, after 3 months of oral administration(15)

Some researchers suggested that cinnamon extract may improve fasting blood glucose levels and glucose tolerance without altering the insulin secretion, through lower triglyceride and increased liver glycogen content and improved insulin action in liver tissues(16).

Dr. Kim SH and Dr. Choung SY. told PubMed "The effect of cinnamon in significantly increases insulin sensitivity, reduces serum, and hepatic lipids, and improves hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia possibly by regulating the PPAR(in regulation of metabolism (carbohydrate, lipid, protein))-medicated glucose and lipid metabolism"(17)

In support of the above, chromium(Cr) and polyphenols found in cinnamon(Cinnamomon cassia) indicated a improvement of glucose, insulin, cholesterol and HbA1c(Glucose lab test) in patients with type 2 diabetesfollowing Cr supplementation, in a double-blind placebo-controlled study(20).

Unfortunately, according to the Western University of Health Sciences, consumption of cinnamon is associated with a statistically significant decrease in levels of fasting plasma glucose, but insisted that high degree of heterogeneity may limit the ability to apply these results to patient care, due to the unclear preferred dose and duration of therapy(18)

A randomized clinical trial in which 70 Patients with type II diabetesassigned randomly two groups (35 in cinnamon and 35 in placebo group for the testing of the effect of cinnamon on the glucose level in blood, indicated an insignificant effect of using cinnamon on glucose level of diabetic patients and the herb should not be recommended to patients with type II diabetes depending on further studies(19).

People with Type II Diabetes may also be thinking to add whole food papaya into their diet. the recent study suggested(20) ,
The finding not only showed the effectiveness of unripe pawpaw fruit (Carica papaya) in inhibition α-amylase, α-glucosidase, but also induced lipid peroxidation in a dose-dependent manner, in rat pancreas(20).
The key enzymes of α-amylase, α-glucosidase, involved in the digestion of carbohydrates, have been linked to onset of type 2 diabetes. Inhibition of these enzymes can significantly reduce the post-prandial increase of blood glucose and have been considered by therapists in use for management of blood glucose level in type 2 diabetic and borderline patients(21).

In streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats study, the aqueous extract of leaves of C. papaya administered strongly controlled blood glucose levels(22), through prevention of hepatocyte disruption, as well as accumulation of glycogen and lipids via its hypoglycemic and antioxidant effect(23)

In a new study, conducted by the researchers at the Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute, fermented papaya preparation was tested whether it improves dermal wound healing outcomes in adult diabetic mice by preventing the risk of infections(24).
The result was astonishing, the fermentation not only up regulated the Sp1 DNA binding activity(modulating the cellular response to DNA damage) in Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) but also the protein and mRNA expression of Rac2(regulates a number of cellular functions)(24).

A randomized controlled clinical trial conducted at the Cardiac Centre, ANDI Centre of Excellence for Biomedical and Biomaterials Research and Department of Biosciences University of Mauritius, suggested that oral administration of 6g FPP®/day for a period of 14 weeks could improve the general health status of several organs targeted by oxidative stress duringdiabetes and suggested that the supplement may be used in the management the complications of diabetes such as cardiovascular disease, neurological disease and other conditions worsened by overt inflammation and oxidative stress(25).
Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects, green tea now has been cultivated all over the world in suitable climate.

Green tea has ling been known for its effect on treatment of diabetes in ancient Chinese literature, probably due to green tea phytochemical polyphenols(26).Dr. Solayman M and the research tea at the Universiti Sains Malaysia said, "Natural products containing high polyphenol levels can control carbohydrate metabolism by various mechanisms, such as protecting and restoring beta-cell integrity, enhancing insulin releasing activity, and increasing cellular glucose uptake"(27).

In a total of 17,413 persons (6727 men and 10,686 women; 49% of the original study population) who were 40 to 65 years of age, daily drinking of green tea reduced risk of diabetes by 33%, especially in women and in overweight men(13).Furthermore, intake of green tea of 150 ml green tea, three times a day for four weeks, has positive effect on insulin resistance and certain lipoproteins in type 2 DM, according to the Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Science(28).

People who are at increased risk of diabetes due to family history, gene mutation, obesity, Diabetic nephropathy, ....should drink at least one serving daily and people with diabetes should drink no more than 4 servings a day, depending to digestive toleration.
Change of life style and diet pattern are also recommended.

The smoothie for reduced risk and treatment of Fibrocystic breast disease
Yield: 2 serving (about 8 ounce each)
3/4 cup tomato
1/4 cup sweet potato
1/2 dulse
1 cup rice milk

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree about 1 minute
2. Blend on high speed about 1 minute or until the mixture is thick and the ice is well crushed. Add more green tea drink if needed
3. Serve immediately

The finding the natural ingredients for improvement of Fibrocystic breast disease   is considered as a dream of many scientist. Unfortunately, many compounds found effective in initial studying failed to confirm the potential in large sample size and multi center. Some even produce conflicted results in second and further studies.

Fibrocystic breast disease also known as fibrocystic breast condition is defined as a condition in which cysts, and noncancerous lump found in the breast tissue as result of hormonal change from the menstrual cycle. Fibrocystic breast diseases sometime cause pain and discomfort which affects approximately 30-60% of women.

Update reports from numbers of well known institutions insisted, intake of tomato(1) with high amount carotenoids, may be the next generation ingredient to be used on prevention and treatment of Fibrocystic breast disease. According to the the retinol and RA isomers may associate to prevention and treatment of Fibrocystic breast disease.(1). The researchers said, "11-cis RA in breast adipose tissue was significantly lower in the breast cancer patients than those of benign breast disease patients and it was associated with the stage of malignancy"
According to Dr. Band PR and colleagues, vitamin A may be used for treatment at dose-depend of benign breast disease (BBD) as patient produce a positive and complete or partial responses at 3 months of application(2).
In fact, Dr. Pasquali D and research team at the Seconda Universitá di Napoli, said, "Retinoids seem to act as agents of chemoprevention and differentiation in breast diseases, as both malignant and benign breast tissues may be target for retinoids, justifying the use of natural and synthetic vitamin A derivatives in the chemoprevention of breast disease"(3).

Sweet potato, containing highest amount of vitamin E in comparison to other vegetables, is a large, starchy, sweet tasting tuberous roots vegetable, genus Ipomoea, belongings to the family Convolvulaceae. According to Dr. Horner NK and Dr. Lampe JW. application of vitamin E may be used for treatment of fibrocystic breast conditions together with addition of diet pattern change(4).
The collaborative study by University of L'Aquila--University of Rome suggested that vitamin A and E reduced or resolved clinical palpable breast findings (with pain, tension, nodularity and instrumental patterns) in a group of women (double-blind trial) affected by breast dysplasia(5).
Fibrocystic breast disease , Alexander Mostovoy, H.D., D.H.M.S., BCCT said, "has provided dramatic results in controlling cystic mastitis, take 600 IU daily of d- alpha tocopherol. Vitamin E-based antioxidants are found in rice bran, palm fruit, barley, and wheat germ"(6).

Dulse, a red seaweed of genus Palmaria, belong to Family Palmariaceae grows attached to rocks by a "holdfast" in the North Atlantic and Northwest Pacific. The sea vegetable may be used for prevention and treatment of fibrocystic breast disease due to the presence of iodine(7).
Dr. Ghent WR and colleagues at the Queen's University said, " The fibrocystic breast reacts differently to sodium iodide, protein-bound iodide and molecular iodine. Molecular iodine is nonthyrotropic and was the most beneficial"(8).
In animal model, dietary restriction and chemical blockade of iodine causes histopathologic changes in peripubertal female rat breasts, leading to noticeable calcospherite deposition, intralobular fibrosis, and cystic changes resembling human fibrocystic disease, according to the study of 42-week-old rats(9).

The smoothie of Tomato, Sweet Potato and Dusle  may hold a key in further studies in production of effective natural ingredients for prevention and treatment of fibrocystic breast disease without inducing adverse effects.

Women who are at increased risk of fibrocystic breast disease, due to family history,... should drink at least one cup daily. Women with fibrocystic breast disease, should drink no more than 4 servings daily depending to the digestive toleration.

The finding of a natural source for treatment of Skeletal Abnormalities in Conorenal syndrome has been running into many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially with promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Recent studies back by well known institutions proposed, cantaloupe and Juar tea may be the next generation of natural ingredients for prevention and treatment of Skeletal Abnormalities in Conorenal syndrome.

Conorenal syndrome, also known as Mainzer-Saldino syndrome or Saldino-Mainzer disease is a medical condition of diseases involved kidney, skeletal system and eye with the same genetic mutation.
Skeletal Abnormalities in Conorenal syndrome is a condition of bone abnormalities observed in multiple bones as well as inducing craniosynostosis, the short stature.

Cantaloupe is a species in the family Cucurbitaceae, originally cultivated by the Egytian (The European cantaloupe) and by India and Africa (The North American cantaloupe).

Antioxidant enzyme extracellular superoxide dismutase (EC-SOD),commercially obtained from cantaloupe and in regulation of ROS-mediated tissue damage(1) plays an important antioxidant defense function in skeletal muscle against cardiac cachexia and exercise intolerance in congestive heart failure(CHF)(2).
According to the study led by the University of Virginia, the antioxidant enzyme also enhanced by exercise training in expression of skeletal muscle and elicitation of positive health outcomes in individuals through ameliorated oxidative stress(3).

Juar tea, type of black tea native to African,  according to the National Defense Medical College, Saitama, Japan, Consumption of polyphenol-rich juar tea increases endothelium-bound extracellular superoxide dismutase levels (EC-SOD) of that may be beneficiary to patient with Conorenal syndrome induced skeletal Abnormalities(4)(5).

The effectiveness of   Cantaloupe and Juar tea  may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for reduced risk, complications and treatment of Skeletal Abnormalities in Conorenal syndrome with little or no adverse effects.

People who are at high risk of Skeletal Abnormalities in Conorenal syndrome due to mutation gene should drink no more than 4 servings daily, depending to digestive toleration.

Life style and diet pattern change are necessary.

The finding of a natural source for reduced risk and treatment of  Breast hematoma has encountered many obstacles, many ingredients showed initially the promising result in animal studies have not produced same potentials in either large sample size and mutli centers human trials.

Scientists in some well known institutions may have found the therapeutic and potential ingredients from natural sources(such as Ginger, Alfalfa Sprout  and Orange) for reduced risk and treatment of Breast hematoma.

Breast hematoma is a collection of blood due to bleeding within the breast. According to the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, "The probability of development of a non-clinically significant hematoma was 21.6% for patients taking antithrombotics and 13.0% for those not taking antithrombotics"(1).

Vitamin K, found abundantly in spinach has exerted its coagulation effects in reduced risk of (subdural) hematoma, in a randomized trials identified from the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(2).
The Fuwai Hospital joint study also suggested, the favorite uninterrupted vitamin K antagonists (VKAs), in comparison to anticoagulation in catheter ablation (CA) of atrial fibrillation (AF) in occurrence of stroke or transient ischemic attacks and major bleeding in test subjects(3).
Dr. Levi M said, "Bleeding is the most important adverse effect of antithrombotic treatment and may be a major cause of morbidity, longstanding debilitation, and even mortality....... can be neutralized by the administration of vitamin K or prothrombin complex concentrates"(4).

Vitamin C, a water soluble vitamin found in orange may also benefit women with breast hematoma by preventing the breaking off  capillaries, the small vessels in the breast inducing bleeding(5).
According to the University Clinic Muenster, Vitamin C was shown to be cerebroprotective in several animal models of stroke, through the expression and transport activity of SVCT2, :key proteins for vitamin C uptake. in brain capillary endothelial cells after transhwaient ischemia in mice(6).

Resveratrol, a phytochemical in the class of Stilbenoids, found abundantly in grape may also reduced risk of complications caused by severe hemorrhagic injury, including the Lung(8), intestines(9), cystitis(10),.....through both pro and anti-inflammatory pathways(7).

The effectiveness of Orange, Spinach and Grape Juice may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for for Reduced Risk and treatment of Breast hematoma with little or no adverse effects.

Women who are at increased risk of Breast hematoma due to family history, aging,.....may drink at least one serving daily and women with  Breast hematoma may drink as much as they can, depending to the digestive toleration.
Life style and dietary patter change are recommended.

Cervicitis is an inflammation of the cervix.
Green tea has been a precious drink in traditional Chinese culture and used exceptional in socialization for more than 4000 thousand years. Due to its commercial values and health effects, green tea now has been cultivated all over the world in suitable climate.
According to the The Catholic University of Korea, green tea extracts (polyphenon E; poly E and (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate [EGCG]) exhibited anti human papilloma virus (HPV) infected cervical lesions at a a 200 mg of poly E taken orally every day for eight to 12 weeks(1).
The phytochemicals of epigallocatechin gallate and polyphenols E also inhibited immortalized HPV-immortalized cervical epithelial cells and cancer cell growth. induced apoptosis through cell cycle change, according Guangxi Medical University(2).

Turmeric is a perennial plant in the genus Curcuma, belonging to the family Zingiberaceae, native to tropical South Asia. Its phytochemical curcumin can stimulate prevention of multiple sexually transmitted infections of cervix caused by HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), HSV (herpes simplex virus) and HPV (human papilloma virus)(3).
According to the Air Force General Hospital of People's Liberation Army, curcumin induced apoptosis of HPV-positive human cervical cancer cells via the anti inflammatory/cellular tumor antigen NF-κB-p53-caspase-3 pathway(4).
In a phase II randomized controlled study, curcumin and curcumin containing polyherbal preparations have demonstrated anti-microbial and anti- viral properties against cervical human papillomavirus (HPV) infection(5).

Recent studies by some renowned institutions suggested that Kidney bean, avocado and apricot may be the next generation of ingredient extracted from natural sources for reduced risk and treatment of Dent's disease.

Dent's disease is a genetic mutation of reno disease, affecting the proximal renal tubules of the kidney in male population mostly.
Potassium citrate, a form of potassium often found naturally in foods, such as kidney bean, avocado and apricot, etc. at 3 mEq/kg/day for 2 months effectively normalized serum bicarbonate and decreased the risk of calcium oxalate stone in children of Dent's disease(1).
According to the Mahidol University, monitoring of urinary calcium-to-creatinine ratio or citrate-to-creatinine ratio is necessary to ensure adequate amount intake of potassium citrate supplementation for prevention of urinary saturation for calcium oxalate(2).
Dr. Preminger GM and professors at the Southwestern Medical School said, "Potassium citrate caused a decrease in urinary calcium and a significant increase in urinary citrate that resulted in a significant decrease in the urinary saturation of calcium oxalate"(3).

The effectiveness of Kidney Bean, Avocado and Apricot may serve as cornerstones of pharmaceutical target for further studies in production of a potential medication for reduced risk, complications and treatment of Dent's disease with little or no adverse effects.

People who are at high risk of Dent's disease due to genetic mutation should drink no more than 4 servings daily, depending to digestive toleration.
Life style and diet pattern change are necessary.

The finding the natural ingredients for reduced symptoms and treatment of Perimenopause  is considered as a dream of many scientist to replace the long usage adverse effect of conventional medicine.
Unfortunately, many compounds found effective in initial studying failed to confirm the potentials in large sample size and multi center.

Recent studies suggested that scientist in some research centers have found the naturally potential ingredients, from Radix Astragali (RA), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (RAS) and Folium Epimedii (FE), three of the extensively applied herbs among traditional Chinese medicines for gynecological disorders(1), including symptoms of Perimenopause.

Long-term treatment of RRF formula exhibited estrogenic properties, inhibited age-associated egeneration may be considered as an alternative/complementary medicine in relieving perimenopausal symptoms(1), according to the joint study lead by the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

Huang Qi or Bei Qi is also known as Astragalus root. The sweet herb has been used as diuretic agent and to lower blood pressure, increase blood pressure, lessens proteinuria, improve endurance, protect liver function, regulate blood sugar, etc.

In natural aging animal study, Radix Astragali used conjuction with Radix Angelicae Sinensis, and Folium Epimedii in formula RRF, expressed a a positive regulation on the estrogen imbalance and neurotransmitter disorder in restoring reproductive organ degeneration and skeleton deterioration in perimenopausal rats(2).

According to the Guangzhou University Town, RRF also enhanced estradiol (E(2) synthese while diminished the elevated serum FSH and LH levels, attenuated osteoporosis by elevating the BMD levels of total body and bone trabeculae degradation of which induced a capable of acting at multiple targets in the protection and treatment of perimenopausal disorders in midlife women(3).

Furthermore, RRF on study of immunological function, RRF also displayed a relatively wide margin of safety. Dr. Xie JH and colleagues at the joint study lead by the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou said, "Long-term treatment of RRF exhibited estrogenic properties, and retarded certain age-associated degenerations" and "RRF might have the potential for further development as a safe and effective alternative/complementary to conventional medication in relieving perimenopausal symptoms."(4).

On Chinese medicinal plant Radix astragali(RA) alone in the study of 24 ovariectomized female Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats, oral application of RA significantly improved the immune functions of the ovariectomized female rats, but cannot induced the change the sex hormones levels as significantly as estrogen(5).

Dang Qui (Angelica sinensis) is a herb of Genus Angelica from the family Apiaceae, indigenous to China. The herb has been used as a Queen herb in traditional Chinese medicine antispasmodic and vasodilatory agent, and to balance the hormones in women for a normal menstrual cycle and menstruation and strengthen heart, spleen, kidneys, and liver for both men and women, etc. Use conjunction with Radix Astragali and Folium Epimedii in formula RRF improved the aging degeneration of perimenopausal symptoms in animal study(2).

Folium Epimedii, deciduous or evergreen hardy perennials, native to Asia, and a few in the Mediterranean region has been used in Chinese medicine for induced sexual activity. When used together with Dang qui and Huang qi in formula RRF has shown effectively in enhanced the balancing of diminished hormones due to aging in reduced the expression of perimenopausal symptoms(3).

In take of phytoestrogen with function as weak estrogens, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory agents(6plant based lignans, a chemical compoud found in flax seed, may be effective in ameliorated symptoms of peri menopause, according to the joint study lead University of Zurich(7),

The combination of formula RRF and Flax Seed  smoothie may hold a key in further studies in production of an effective natural ingredients for reduced the symptoms displacement and treatment of perimenopause without inducing adverse effects.

Women who are in the perimenopause stage should drink as much as they can, depending to the digestive toleration.
